Two milling machine tables and two Z-axes, all controlled independently of one another by just one CNC controller – that is the Bornemann TWIN. This innovative “2 in 1”-concept makes possible lightning-fast switches between parallel operation and synchronous operation.
Parallel operation: simultaneous milling of two identical or two different small workpieces. Here, milling tables and X-axis shafts work synchronously or independently of each other as the case may be.
Synchronous operation: Milling a large workpiece. The milling machine tables simultaneously machine: One of the two Z-axes works, the other is in parking position.
